The easiest way to come across Tattoo Artists, is either the internet or magazines. Most shops have a social network account/website etc. I came across Sven Groenewald over social networking, we talked briefly and I said to him how much I appreciate his style.
The thing I like about the Tattooing industry is that there are always new people out there to take influence from, people who go totally opposite to the fundamentals that can make you re-think your entire work.
Rather than a clean consistant style, Sven goes for a more rougher pencil approach. His work almost seem like drawings.
